Joel (s) James
Morning prayer
Seek he first Mathew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you and all these things will be added unto you. FromMathew 6:33
Inspiration
Seeking the things of God should be your first priority. When you pursue the things of God, you have put yourself in a place where everything that you require will come. God takes care of His own – He always does. Don’t think you are missing out on anything when you are focusing on God – because you truly aren’t.
Prayer
Dear God, I set my mind on you and commit myself to pursuing you and the things of your Kingdom. It is more profitable to chase the things of God than the things of this world. You give life; the world does not. May I always remember this, Lord. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
🥏 Devotion
For most of us , the call is to be a witness by the we live our faith every day Mark 1 :4-5
Called to discipleship
What does it mean to be a disciple? Many people questioned what that means in their own lives, repent and turn their lives toward God. He was a disciple. Mary said, “Yes,” and lived as a witness to the power of God as she awaited the birth of Jesus and the beginning of the kingdom on earth. For some of us, the call is to act, to speaking of the saving actions of Jesus and inviting those who have turned away to come back. For most of us, the call is to be a witness by the very way we live our faith every day. The question for all of us is, “Are we prepared to ‘prepare the way of the Lord?’” During this time of waiting for Christ to come again, let us examine our hearts and remember why we believe and how believing has changed our lives. Let us examine the way we live and ask ourselves if others would be drawn to Christ by our actions, or turned off because we do not represent the love, compassion, and forgiveness of God. May our ears to open to the voice of God and our hearts be willing to follow his call.
Prayer
Father, it is not always easy to be your disciple. We have friends and at times family that try to lead us away from you or make us ashamed of the love we have for you. Lead us in this season of grace to be true witness to the gospel into our words and actions.amen. by Joel(s) James

Accelerate (Psalm 31:15)
Accelerate My times are in Your hand… (Psalm 31:15, NASB)
One thing I’ve learned is that God doesn’t always work on our timetable. In fact, He rarely does. But in a single moment, God can change your life! All throughout scripture, we see examples of how God was working behind the scenes and instantly turned things around for His people. Scripture tells us He is the same yesterday, today and forever which means He can instantly turn things around for you, too!
You may be going through some difficulty today, but be encouraged because your times are in God’s hands. He wants to accelerate things in your favor. He wants to take you further than you dreamed possible and work in your life in ways beyond what you have ever imagined.
Let this truth sink down into your heart today. Resist discouragement by speaking His Word over your future. Keep standing. Keep hoping; keep believing because He is working behind the scenes. He’s going to accelerate your times and lead you into the life of victory He has for you! Father, today I humbly come before You giving You all that I am. I trust that my times are in Your hands. I trust that You are working things out in my favor. I set my focus on You knowing that You are working things out for my good in Jesus name. Amen. by:Joel(S)James

Mal.3.4 – “Then the offering of Judah and Jerusalem Will be pleasant to the LORD, As in the days of old, As in former years.
Mal.3.5 – And I will come near you for judgment; I will be a swift witness Against sorcerers, Against adulterers, Against perjurers, Against those who exploit wage earners and widows and orphans, And against those who turn away an alien– Because they do not fear Me,” Says the LORD of hosts.

🥏Morning prayer Psalm 5 :3
17, December,2022, Saturday
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
Inspection
There are other Psalms that speak of praying to God morning, noon, and night. And we know we can pray and be heard at any time of day. There is not magic in morning prayers. But the special value in them is this: that we begin the day aright, looking up to you for guidance, getting our hearts in tune with you from the very start of each day.
Prayer
O Lord, let us seek you early. Let us seek you at the beginning of every day and throughout every day to its close. In the morning, let us commit to live that day for you; at noon, let us measure our progress mid-way; in the evening, let us reflect on how well we succeeded. Amen.
How do you find joy is leaving the gospel Philippian 4: 4-7
How do I find joy? Living the Gospel! How do you find joy in living the Gospel? For me, living the Gospel brings peace and I find joy in that. The Gospel asks us to be people of forgiveness and mercy, people who think more about others than about themselves. The more we follow the path of Jesus, the more contentment and joy are in our lives. We can’t always be “happy.” There will always be sadness in our lives, we can’t escape it. We will get sick, we will lose people we love, we will be betrayed and eventually we will face our own deaths. But because we are people of faith, there can always be joy, the joy that comes from knowing we are not alone, that death is not the end but the beginning, the beginning of eternal life won for us by Jesus. Soon, Christmas will be in the past. The music will change back to whatever you usually hear. There will be trees lining the sidewalks, shorn of the decorations and lights. There will be lines at the department stores and the post office with people returning gifts. Christmas day was probably a very happy day for you, for me, and for all those people in line, but happiness is fleeting. However, the joy of Christmas can last all year if we carry the blessings that that day brings in our hearts every day. The blessing of knowing that we are redeemed, the blessing of knowing just how much God loves us, these and many more give us a joy that lasts long after the decorations are put away. Where will you find joy in this Season?
Prayer
Gracious God, you sent your son to let us know the joy that come from the gift of salvation won for us by Jesus. help us to remember always to give you thanks and praise for your great love for us. Amen
